Artistic performance
🎭 Fleuriane Cornet – Artistic performance starting at 4:10 PM.
Before the afternoon sports events resume, the audience is invited to discover an artistic cycling performance by Fleuriane Cornet. At 4:10 PM, the Sports Hall track will host this artistic presentation exploring the links between physical effort and stage expression.
A practice at the crossroads of sport and art
Fleuriane Cornet develops a unique approach to artistic cycling. Through precise and controlled figures, she creates a dialogue between the body, the object, and space. Her approach is based on circus codes while remaining rooted in a physical performance logic. Balance, concentration, and fluidity are at the heart of her method.
A path shaped by dedication
She discovered circus arts as a child at La Batoude, where she took her first steps in circus arts before joining Châtellerault high school with a circus option. She continued her training at the National Center for Circus Arts in Châlons-en-Champagne, where she refined her technique and developed a personal language. In 2024, she joined the Speed show at the Winter Circus in Helsinki. For three months, she took part in 60 performances mixing cycling, rollerblading, skating, and hoverboarding in a fast-paced rhythm.
An echo to competition
Her presence fully integrates into the competition day. Artistic cycling, which she approaches in a free and expressive form, shares the same demands as the sporting framework: rigor, precision, and body commitment. Her performance offers another perspective on the discipline, less standardized but equally demanding.
